Axon Systems, founded in 1987, is a leading manufacturer of neurological intraoperative (NIOM) and intensive care monitors. Our products are used in operating rooms to monitor critical neural pathways during surgery, aiding surgeons and helping to prevent post-operative neurological deficits. In the intensive care unit our products are used for diagnostic long-term monitoring and to provide prognostic information, guiding patient care.

Throughout its history, Axon Systems has established an excellent reputation based on technological innovation and reliability. Introduced in 1989, the Sentinel-4 Neurological Monitor was the first comprehensive four channel EEG and evoked potential monitor designed specially for intraoperative and ICU monitoring.

Our proprietary technologies have enabled us to design systems with advanced capabilities such as simultaneous multimodality monitoring for added patient protection and vital signs views to aid in the interpretation of data. The EpochXP, for example, is the first NIOM system with built-in TCeMEP monitoring capability. This unique feature can provide clinicians with additional neurological information to help guide decision making.

Our latest technological innovation, the Eclipse Neurological Workstation, is a 32 channel system with built in pulse oximeter, dual video recording and playback and fast charge TCeMEP stimulation.

Axon Systems is a privately-owned company with its headquarters on Long Island, at 400-2200 Oser Ave, Hauppauge, NY, 11788, about 50 miles east of Manhattan and about a one-hour drive from La Guardia and JFK International Airports. Axon’s products are sold directly in the U.S. by its own sales force, and internationally, by dealers and representatives.
